vino, vidi, vici

Well yes, I know that's not how it goes! But I also know that the meaning of life can be found in wine, and that with wine I can definitely see things and in some cases (like painting the trim work in my house) conquer them BETTER, so vino vidi vici it is for me. ;)

Last weekend I held a wine tasting party at our house. It was a small group of friends and it was facilitated by a lovely woman who is a wine consultant for a vineyard in California. Everyone had a great time. With such a small group there was, of course, more wine for each guest. With more wine generally comes more animated conversation - this event was no exception. But it was extremely enjoyable and I have to say that this was one of my most favorite afternoons in my house.

Wine, bicycles, books, flowers and cake - these are the (non-breathing) great loves of my life. Cheers!
